The markings for the hiking transversal “Plnanini in Macedonia” PM start from the village of Staro Selo along a wide road, and after 15 minutes of walking, at a sharp turn, the wide road is left, and the path enters the forest again, only to emerge again after half an hour on the wide road. From here to the Ljuboten mountain lodge, the trail follows the wide road, with a small shortcut in front of the lodge. This part of the trail takes you 3 hours. Those who have their own motor vehicle can reach the home on a macadam road from Staro Selo.

From the lodge to the peak of Ljuboten, the mountain is bare and there is a route that is well marked. The path leads straight up the slope above the lodge, to the beginning of the ridge, which ends at the top. It takes about 2-2:30 hours from the home to the top, and the path is marked.

The second route to the top partially coincides with the first one and it turns 30 minutes to the left in the direction of Kozja Stena. As soon as you leave Kozja Stena, the path continues to the right with a very steep climb to the top. The path is marked. You need about 2 – 2:30 hours to the top.
